It’s only been open for a term, but students at North West Creative Arts College, in Henderson, Auckland, have already achieved great things. At its official opening on April 3, students showcased their photography, jewellery, singing and performing arts skills in an opening ceremony attended by whanau and the community.

Converting to a charter school
Applications for state and state integrated schools wanting to convert to charter schools are open. Expressions of interest need to be submitted by Wednesday 16 July 2025.
